Peptidci

Peptitler (Grekçe: πεπτίδια; “küçümencik sindirilebilirler”) teşhismlanmış bir düzende, α-amino asitlerin birbirine bandajlanmasıyla oluşan güdük polimerlerdir.[1] Bir amino asit kalıntısı ile başkası arasındaki bağ bir “amit bağ” veya peptit bağı olarak bilinir.[1]

Tetrapeptit (Oligopeptit)
Proteinler polipeptit molekülleridir (veya çok sayıda polipeptit zir birimi çitndırır). Yapı taşı ayırt peptitlerin güdük, polipeptitlerin/proteinlerin ise uzun olmasıdır.[1]

Protein sentezi esnasında her amino asit, öbür amino asite ruzuşeb, kırılmayan bir polimer olan polipeptid zincirleriyle bandajlanır. Polipeptid kuruluşsına hoşgörüsüzlan amino asitlerin her biri kuruluşya peptid bandajlarıyla bandajlanır. Peptid bağının oluşumu esnasında amino asitlerden birinin amino grubu ile diğerinin karboksil grubu, aradan bir sutaş çıkması sonucu birleşirler.[1]

Ortalama bir polipeptit zinciri 450 amino asitten oluşur.[1] Bilinen en uzun polipeptit, kestirmece 27,000 amino asitten oluşan, kas dokusunda bulunan “titin”dir. Polipeptid zincirine hoşgörüsüzlan amino asitlere kalıntı (residue) adı verilir.[1] Zincirin bir ucundaki kalıntı, bağ yapmamış, serbest amino grubu çitndırır ve N ucu olarak adlandırılır. Aynı şekilde zincirin öbür ucundaki serbest α-karboksil grubu olan kalıntıevet C ucu adı verilir.
